Game 3 NBA Finals Lakers vs. Magic

I'll blog about the game later but for now yall should follow me on twitter for all my thoughts going on as the game is played.

We need to stop Kobe Bryant.

News Flash
Stan VanGundy JJ's defense is much better then you think & did one hell of a job on Kobe Sunday night. He needs the regular play to get his touch back, put him in.

Also, aren't starters well suppose to play?
Please explain to me why Courtney Lee is starting yet only played 3 minutes the entire first half.

Redick played 13 minutes the firsr half and played excellent defense against Kobe, while Lee only played 4 minutes. If only Redick could hit his shots.

Magic vs Lakers

Game 2 tonight & I'm really hoping the Magic team that showded up on Thursday doesn't show up tonight. Dwight Howard didn't have one dunk in the game?!? Craziness. They defiantly had an off night shooting. When you shoot 29% collectively as a team you know something isn't right. But on a good note in my book was that JJ Redick got to play 8 minutes in the 4th quarter. I feel bad for him. 11th pick out of the draft, hadn't had much playing time going into this series & it was so bad that he asked to be traded last season, that obviouslt didnt happen. And as im typing this right now, he is getting ready to come into the game right now =] I love him. This season he saw his playing time increase a bit this season and then Courtney Lee got hurt the end of the Philly series so JJ actually started every game of the Boston series. But Lee came back and he saw action in only one game during the Cleveland series. I got to hand it to him for staying positive.

Here's to the Magic pulling out a win in LA, although we've got three players with 2 fouls each, so they'll have to stop that if they want to stay in this game.

Yassou

Wow, i apologize for how long it's been since i've last updated. I have since completed my trimester of practicum. We did some really awesome community service that taught me so much about Rhode Island. And after that we took our FAM trip to GREECE!!!

It was such an amazing experience and i am a constant loss of words to describe the trip. Being in a place with so much history and just thinking about all the people that have walked the same paths you do while you are there just leave me speechless and almost feeling overwhelmed. It was four years now that i sat in a classroom learning about the Greek Gods and Goddess and here i am walking the very land of their existance. They was alot that happened and i almost feel like i did get everything out of it that i could. I let some situations cloud the experienc and bring me down a bit. But i still had a fantastic time and it defiantly something i will never forget.

And this brings me to the Air France flight that went down over the Atlantic Ocean early this week. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims families. The scary part is that my practicum group and I were just on that same type of airplane just two weeks ago. We were fortunate to have good weather during all of our flights.

I am back home now for the summer, not like it has been very fun so far. Unpacking is one of the things that i absolutely hate doing, but it must be done but i'm still in the process of doing so. My dad has been on my ass since i got back about getting a job. I've handed in 4 applications thus far, what more does he want me to do?

I'm actually really looking forward to going back to school in September. i miss Providence already but im more excited about where im living next year. The university ran out of housing for the 09-10 school year so they have leased these brand new apartments that are just getting finished now. They are really condos, luxury condos, so im really thankful to be living in them. Granted i am paying an arm and a leg to be staying there i dont care. i get my own room finally, growing up as an only child, sharing a room with someone the last two years has been hard on me. I also dont have to pay for laundry anymore, another perk of them being condos, each unit has its own washer & dryer. There are a total of three of us in the apartment, two girls in one bedroom and then me in the other. which also means i get my own bathroom since there are two in the unit. each bathroom has grantite counter tops, porcelin sinks, and large showers. the kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances and grantite countertops again; i also get a walk-in closet. i couldnt be more excited to be living on campus.

I hope you are all doing well and I will hopefully be updating this alittle bit more regularly.
